At an early age, Laura, with her family, moved to a small farm in central Florida. The family lore is that one of the only two times she would cry, was when she wanted to be hoisted onto the back of a horse, and then the second time would be when she had to get off.

Laura has attented numerous USEF judges clinics and judges shows in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa and Palm Beach, Florida as well as in the Bahamas.

Prior Experience:

• Age 4 - she would clamor up the corral fence around the school horses, and slide onto the back of a loose horse. The second time her mother discovered her clinging to the mane of a tack-free, wandering school horse, she decided it was time to teach Laura to ride. The rest is history…..Laura
  
  
• Age 5 - showing gentle hunters at hunter/ jumper shows,
• Age 9 - winning championships with 3 young horses,
• Age 11 - helping to educate the horses in training at the farm,
• Age 13 - ribbon winner at the National Pony Finals in Virginia
  
  
• Age 14 - qualified for all three USA national equitation competitions,
• Age 16 - ribbon winner at Madison Square Garden
• Ages 16-17 trained with Goeff Teale and Margie Goldstein Engle
• Age 18 - graduated from prestigious Trinity Prep High School, and spent a year as an amateur, showing her jumper at the major shows, including Winter Equestrian Festival in Palm Beach, Florida, winning many classes that season.
• Age 19 - became a professional rider, working out of her home farm, and began classes at Rollins College.
