THE COVERED RING
The covered ring symbolizes the evolved, progressive, and orderly nature of our facility. Completed in August 2010, it is unmatched in Central Florida. The footing is fully equivalent to that installed in Lexington, Kentucky for the World Equestrian Games and in Hong Kong for the Olympics.
This awesome ring offers a consistently superb riding experience. Riders train in a 34,000 square foot area with GGT footing and full coverage mat system that mitigates concussions by 40% for both horse and rider - leading to greater soundness and more training options. The footing directly contributes to safety, comfort, and confidence for horse and rider.

Day or night, rain or shine - this ring is awesome.
The roof has a cooling system, as does the stable, and our advanced audio system allows riders to easily hear the trainers or listen to their favorite music while taking a "just chill" ride. Our aluminum race-track railing, imported from England, is designed to protect horse and rider and is a truly beautiful look.

GRASS HUNT FIELD
Our grass hunt field is high and dry - offering natural turf footing, an expanse to hand gallop, and a collection of hunt field type jumps, hill, berm and bank. These features increase our ability to do controlled, low-stress strength training with the horses, as we practice for high-level show challenges.

BANK JUMP AND CONDITIONING HILL

OUR STABLE
Our classic concrete block stable is light, airy, and dry. The aisles are open, clean, and exceptionally well-ventilated. We use a unique cooling system to keep temperatures down - it is one of the coolest, naturally climate-controlled stables in Florida. The horses enjoy 12x12 level stalls with wall-to-wall rubber mats, two windows, generous bedding, and fans.

ROUND PENS AND LUNGE RING
These additional training areas are so useful - with them we are able to do the extensive groundwork for conditioning, rehabilitation, and specialized training.

TRAILS
Our serene, "Old Florida" setting offers riders the rare opportunity to take a walk in the woods with their horses. Streams, earthen bridges, quiet time - warming up before training or cooling off after - or just making it a "trail ride day" - all are part of the horse and rider experience that is uniquely Barrett Farm.
GROOMING AND WASH AREAS
We have eight covered grooming/wash stalls. With a friendly feel for the horses, they are located at both ends of the stable for convenience. All are fitted with mats, safety crossties, cool and warm water, and fans. A commercial grade on-site laundry provides clean pads and towels daily.

GRAZING PADDOCKS
Turnout is daily and customized for every horse's individual needs. Each horse goes out solo in the paddock, but close to others, separated by wide grassy lanes. All pastures are large, cleaned regularly, with plentiful seasonal grass, and secured by equine-safe, critter-proof, board fencing - a high-priority safeguard for equine health.
